John Page & Peter Kellett
Peter Kellett is a master creator and innovator in the anodized aluminum medium. His process enables the aluminum to absorb dyes with brilliant luminosity, unique longevity, and with the finish fully integrated into the aluminum substrate. Peter created prized custom art pickguards for Fender Custom Shop during John’s leadership, and eventually provided full bodies. Acclaimed collaborations include the Harley Davidson 90th Anniversary Stratocaster, the Turner-inspired “Pink Flamingo” Stratocaster, and an early prototype of the Freddie Tavares “Aloha” Stratocaster.
John continued to work with Peter when John started his own company. “When he told me had had developed yet another new technique for his selective anodizing, I sent him several pickguards from my models so he could do his magic on them. I thought this geometric pattern was pretty cool, and always planned on using it for one of my personal guitars.”
