The Ashburn

White Ashburn guitar on side, neck to the right.

by John Page

Named after my daughter Ashley, this guitar has a double-cutaway, 13" lower bout body, and an Eastern Hard Maple neck available with multiple fretboard options that feature a 12" radius and 22 Jescar .047" x .095" Nickel Silver frets.

The core model Ashburn has a vintage style 6-saddle tremolo bridge, 3 S-style single coil pickups with reversed bridge pickup angle, master volume and tone controls, and a 5-position lever switch.

Threaded Bolt Neck

The machine screw and threaded Brass insert neck-to-body fastening method not only gives an amazingly strong mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones.

Bass-Justified Fret Dots

The instrument also features my bass-justified top dots for improved playing visibility, and front and back contours for playing comfort.
