JOHN DESIGNS

Every John Page Signature Guitar begins with a vision. While the AJ, Ashburn, and DL each have their own unique body shape, pickguard shape, and pickup configuration, there are many constants. Necks, pickups, and materials have been deliberately selected by John ensure elite form and function.

JOHN BUILDS

Once the design has been turned into full-scale mechanical drawing, John creates a template. Working out of his remote Oregon shop, John carefully selects woods and components to reflect the final instrument’s intended tonal character.

Using traditional tools—bandsaws, pin routers, and drill presses—Page personally crafts the prototype’s neck, body, and pickguard.

CHASE PROTOTYPES

John's hand-drawn designs are transformed into exact digital blueprints. John and Chase collaborate to fine-tune every contour and construction detail. Once approved, Chase builds a production model prototype.

TESTING & REFINEMENT

Chase's prototype is sent to the John Page Classic team where it is meticulously tested and played against the approved John prototype. Once Chase's guitar is approved, the guitar goes into production.

JOHN PAGE SIGNATURE PRODUCTION

Master-Builder Chase Gullett CNC-cuts bodies and necks before hand-finishing, wiring, and assembling each and every John Page Signature guitar. The Chase Gullett team creates John Page-approved production versions of John's personal custom shop designs, the closest available not built by John himself.

These guitars are called John Page Signature.

HARMONIOUS DESIGN

John Page Signature Guitars are the culmination of over 50 years of John Page's expert woodworking, design, engineering.

Body woods, neck and fretboard woods, and pickguards are hand-selected, ensuring every component of the guitar is operating in harmony with one another, sonically and visually.
